Study finds most organizations recognize the need for connected data, content, and workflows, but few have built the operational foundation required to scale AI 

CLEVELAND, April 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Hyland, a global leader in enterprise content management (ECM) and the pioneer of AI-driven content intelligence with the Content Innovation Cloud™ , today announced new research from Harvard Business Review Analytic Services, Bridging the Readiness Gap to the Agentic Enterprise, showing that enterprise AI ambition is advancing faster than enterprise readiness. While organizations increasingly recognize that AI success depends on connected data, content, and workflows, most have not yet built the operational foundation required to scale it. 

The gap is especially visible in how organizations are managing enterprise information. While nearly all (94%) of respondents say well-connected data, processes, and applications are highly important to successful AI adoption, less than a third (27%) say those elements are well connected in their organization today. And although 65% say their structured data is somewhat or fully prepared for AI use, only 39% say the same about their unstructured data, including emails, PDFs, images, video, and other document-based content that make up much of the information businesses rely on every day. 

Untapped Opportunity in Unstructured Data 

For many organizations, the issue is not a lack of data. It is that much of the most operationally important information remains trapped in unstructured data spread across repositories, applications, and workflows. The report suggests that closing this gap will require more than deploying new AI tools. It will depend on building a stronger foundation for governance, access, and workflow execution, especially as organizations move toward more agentic forms of AI. 

“As organizations move into the next phase of AI, the challenge is no longer just access to models, but whether the business is ready to operationalize AI in a way that is governed, contextual, and trusted,” said Jitesh S. The research identifies several barriers that continue to limit organizations’ ability to adopt and scale AI. The top-cited data challenges are data silos (54%), data security and privacy issues (48%), data format issues (46%), insufficient data management and governance (46%), and insufficient or unclear data strategy (45%). Just 10% cite a lack of data as a primary issue, reinforcing that the central problem is not volume, but readiness, access, and trust. 

A Practical Path to Enterprise AI Readiness 

The findings also suggest that many organizations still have not embedded AI into day-to-day operations. Among respondents at organizations actively using, piloting, or exploring AI, 39% say most AI-enabled workflows still rely on separate, standalone tools, while only 12% say AI is embedded directly within the flow of work. Fewer than half, 45%, say their AI projects are delivering the outcomes they expected.

Le cifre assegnate, che a seguito delle opportune verifiche sui singoli dossier potranno coprire fino al cento per cento dei costi sostenibili, prevedono dei tetti massimi differenziati: ogni beneficiario privato potrà ottenere fino a 100mila euro, mentre per le realtà pubbliche il limite di contributo sale a 180mila euro. La graduatoria attuale vede le prime quattordici domande classificate come potenzialmente finanziabili; i successivi sei progetti in lista restano invece esclusi dall’erogazione per mancanza di risorse.

A inquadrare la manovra nel contesto più vasto delle politiche ambientali sono il presidente della Regione, Eugenio Giani, e l’assessore regionale all’economia, turismo e politiche agricole, Leonardo Marras: “Si tratta di un provvedimento che si inserisce nel programma di attuazione della strategia forestale nazionale, del quale la Toscana rappresenta una parte rilevante”, hanno congiuntamente dichiarato i rappresentanti delle istituzioni.

L’iniziativa è promossa dal Consorzio Vino Chianti, che ha costruito il programma insieme alle sottozone e alle realtà locali con l’obiettivo di rafforzare il legame tra produzione, ristorazione e territorio. Il presidente Giovanni Busi ha sottolineato come il progetto nasca dalla volontà di dare continuità all’anteprima aprendosi ai territori, evidenziando il successo già registrato nella prima edizione.

Il Chianti DOCG diventa così un vino che si racconta attraverso i luoghi e i momenti in cui viene vissuto, dalle piazze animate agli spazi serali, superando la logica della sola degustazione tecnica.

Il programma tocca sei province con appuntamenti ogni giorno. A Montespertoli il 3 maggio degustazioni libere e una masterclass in piazza del Popolo. Il 5 maggio a Pistoia una cena gourmet al Ristorante Rosso Veneziano Bistrot. Il 6 maggio aperitivo con i vini Ludus a Prato, seguito il giorno dopo da una serata tra pizza d’autore e vino al Circo della Luna. Durante un servizio di pattugliamento mirato, gli uomini della Sezione Radiomobile hanno fermato per un controllo un cittadino di origini marocchine. L’uomo, che era già sottoposto alla misura cautelare dell’obbligo di presentazione alla polizia giudiziaria, ha mostrato un forte nervosismo davanti alle divise, un atteggiamento che ha immediatamente insospettito i militari spingendoli ad approfondire le verifiche.

Nel corso della perquisizione personale, i sospetti si sono rivelati fondati: addosso all’uomo sono stati trovati otto piccoli involucri pronti per la vendita contenenti circa tre grammi di cocaina. Oltre alla droga, i Carabinieri hanno rinvenuto 300 euro in contanti, una somma considerata il diretto provento dell’attività illecita. Il denaro e le dosi sono finiti sotto sequestro, mentre per il soggetto è scattato l’arresto con l’accusa di detenzione di sostanza stupefacente ai fini di spaccio.

L’episodio si inquadra all’interno di una più ampia offensiva di prevenzione e repressione organizzata dalla Compagnia locale. Negli ultimi mesi, infatti, le pattuglie del Nucleo Operativo e Radiomobile, supportate dalle Stazioni dipendenti, hanno incrementato in modo significativo i controlli su persone e veicoli nelle aree più sensibili del territorio, con l’obiettivo di arginare la microcriminalità.

Per l’uomo arrestato, come sottolineato dalle autorità, resta valido il principio della presunzione di innocenza fino all’eventuale accertamento definitivo di colpevolezza tramite sentenza irrevocabile.

Secondo una prima ricostruzione, i malviventi si sarebbero introdotti nella casa probabilmente convinti che fosse vuota. All’interno, invece, si trovavano i due residenti, che si sono ritrovati faccia a faccia con i rapinatori. Uno dei due aggressori ha estratto una pistola e ha minacciato i proprietari, costringendoli a consegnare gioielli e oggetti di valore custoditi nell’abitazione.

Dopo aver ottenuto il bottino, i due uomini sono fuggiti rapidamente, approfittando del buio e facendo perdere le proprie tracce. Le vittime, sotto choc ma senza ferite, hanno dato subito l’allarme.

Sul posto sono intervenuti i carabinieri, che hanno avviato le indagini per risalire all’identità dei responsabili. Gli investigatori stanno raccogliendo elementi utili, anche attraverso eventuali sistemi di videosorveglianza presenti nella zona.

L’episodio si inserisce in un contesto più ampio che nelle ultime settimane ha visto più colpi ai danni di ville nella zona. Solo pochi giorni fa, nel quartiere, ignoti avevano messo a segno un furto milionario in una residenza di lusso, riuscendo a sottrarre contanti e preziosi senza essere scoperti dai proprietari.

Il nuovo caso riporta al centro il tema della sicurezza nelle aree residenziali più esclusive della Versilia. Le forze dell’ordine stanno intensificando i controlli e invitano i cittadini a segnalare movimenti sospetti.

La macchina dei soccorsi del 118 dell’Asl Tse si è messa in moto alle 7,50, orario in cui è scattata la richiesta di intervento. Sul luogo dell’investimento sono arrivati tempestivamente i mezzi sanitari, con un’automedica giunta da Abbadia San Salvatore e un’ambulanza della Misericordia di Piancastagnaio.

Per garantire un trasferimento rapido e un’assistenza adeguata al paziente, è stato richiesto anche l’ausilio dell’elisoccorso Pegaso 2. Dopo le prime valutazioni effettuate sul posto, il trentasettenne è stato caricato a bordo del velivolo e trasportato all’ospedale delle Scotte in codice 2.

Oltre al personale medico e paramedico, hanno raggiunto il luogo dell’incidente anche le forze dell’ordine per effettuare i rilievi di rito e ricostruire la dinamica dell’accaduto.

L’intervento è stato effettuato dall’equipe della Cardiologia dell’ospedale San Luca, diretta da Francesco Bovenzi, su una donna novantenne ricoverata in stato di grave instabilità circolatoria. La paziente presentava una severa stenosi della valvola aortica, che impediva il corretto flusso sanguigno dal cuore, causando difficoltà respiratorie e un quadro clinico compromesso.

La procedura di valvoloplastica aortica è una tecnica mini-invasiva eseguita per via percutanea, generalmente in anestesia locale. Attraverso l’arteria femorale viene introdotto un catetere con un pallone che, una volta posizionato a livello della valvola, viene gonfiato per dilatarne l’apertura e migliorare il passaggio del sangue. Si tratta di un intervento utilizzato in casi selezionati, soprattutto quando il paziente non è idoneo a un’operazione cardiochirurgica tradizionale.

Nel caso specifico, l’intervento ha avuto esito positivo, senza complicanze, consentendo un rapido miglioramento delle condizioni della paziente. L’operazione rappresenta un passaggio intermedio in vista di un successivo trattamento definitivo già programmato, ed è il risultato del lavoro coordinato di cardiologi, emodinamisti, infermieri di sala e tecnici di radiologia, che hanno permesso di affrontare con successo un caso particolarmente complesso.

Le indagini, condotte dal Nucleo di polizia economico-finanziaria e coordinate dalla Procura della Repubblica pisana, si sono concentrate sulle cause che hanno portato alla liquidazione giudiziale di una società specializzata, nello specifico, nello smercio di un collirio. Gli accertamenti contabili hanno fatto emergere un quadro finanziario disastroso: negli anni, l’azienda aveva infatti accumulato un’esposizione debitoria complessiva che superava i quattro milioni di euro. Una vera e propria voragine composta da pendenze con il fisco, mancati versamenti previdenziali e fatture non onorate verso i fornitori.

Di fronte a un evidente e acclarato stato di insolvenza, l’amministratore avrebbe dovuto avviare le regolari procedure concorsuali previste dalla legge. Al contrario, secondo la ricostruzione degli investigatori, l’uomo avrebbe architettato un piano per svuotare le casse aziendali a proprio vantaggio, andando così a danneggiare in modo irreparabile la massa dei creditori.

Le risorse finanziarie distratte dal patrimonio societario sarebbero state reimpiegate per un acquisto di lusso. A conclusione delle indagini, infatti, i finanzieri hanno eseguito un decreto di sequestro preventivo emesso dal Tribunale di Pisa per un importo fino a concorrenza di 720mila euro. Il provvedimento ha colpito direttamente una villa composta da 17 vani situata a Gardone Riviera, in provincia di Brescia.

Per l’amministratore è scattata la denuncia con l’accusa di bancarotta fraudolenta per distrazione. L’iter giudiziario si trova attualmente nella fase dell’udienza preliminare; per l’indagato resta valida la presunzione di innocenza fino all’eventuale pronuncia di una sentenza irrevocabile di condanna.

L’episodio parte da una telefonata sospetta ricevuta da una donna di 71 anni. Un uomo si finge carabiniere e le racconta che il marito si trova in caserma dopo una presunta rapina in banca. Subito dopo annuncia l’arrivo di un collega incaricato di ritirare gioielli e oggetti preziosi per una verifica.

La donna non si fida e chiama il numero di emergenza 112. I carabinieri della stazione di Monteriggioni intervengono subito e organizzano un appostamento vicino all’abitazione.

Poco dopo, il giovane arriva sul posto e prova a entrare in casa per portare a termine il raggiro. I militari lo fermano immediatamente e bloccano la truffa.
L’arresto avviene in flagranza.

I Carabinieri trasferiscono il 18enne nelle camere di sicurezza della compagnia di Poggibonsi, dove resta a disposizione dell’Autorità giudiziaria.

Quest’ultimo episodio conferma il ruolo decisivo della collaborazione tra cittadini e forze dell’ordine. Le truffe agli anziani restano diffuse e colpiscono soprattutto le persone più vulnerabili.

Sul territorio proseguono le campagne informative del comando provinciale dei carabinieri di Siena e della prefettura di Siena. I militari incontrano cittadini e spiegano come riconoscere i tentativi di raggiro.

Le autorità ricordano una regola chiara: nessun appartenente alle forze dell’ordine chiede denaro o oggetti preziosi per risolvere problemi giudiziari. In caso di dubbio, è fondamentale contattare subito il 112.

Il bilancio delle operazioni, reso noto su autorizzazione della Procura della Repubblica fiorentina per la sua rilevanza pubblica, parla di oltre 5mila confezioni sequestrate tra fiale, flaconi e compresse. La merce, proveniente per la quasi totalità da circuiti non ufficiali del Sud-Est asiatico e del Sud America, viaggiava sprovvista di tracciabilità, certificazioni di qualità e autorizzazioni sanitarie.

L’offerta scoperta dalle forze dell’ordine si è rivelata estremamente variegata per soddisfare una domanda in forte espansione. I corrieri tentavano di introdurre in Italia farmaci per la disfunzione erettile (a base di Sildenafil e Tadalafil), anabolizzanti, prodotti dimagranti, sostanze per migliorare le prestazioni fisiche e persino comuni medicine contro ipertensione, infiammazioni o allergie. In alcuni casi, i preparati erano composti da ingredienti non convenzionali e potenzialmente molto nocivi.

Ad alimentare questo sistema strutturato, che fa leva su nuove rotte di approvvigionamento, sono i margini di guadagno enormi. I prodotti, comprati a prezzi irrisori sui mercati esteri, vengono infatti rivenduti ‘sottobanco’ con ricarichi che toccano il 90 per cento. A dimostrazione di questo giro d’affari, spicca un recente intervento che ha permesso di bloccare in un solo colpo più di 1500 medicinali. Questo singolo carico, destinato al miglioramento delle prestazioni sessuali, avrebbe fruttato un incasso illecito stimato tra i 17mila e i 25mila euro.

Assumere queste sostanze in totale assenza di controlli e prescrizioni rappresenta un rischio altissimo per i consumatori. I pericoli spaziano dai gravi effetti collaterali a danni irreversibili, fino a conseguenze letali, specialmente se chi li assume soffre di patologie preesistenti.

L’attività di vigilanza doganale nello scalo toscano ha portato finora alla denuncia di nove persone, sia italiane che straniere. Secondo gli investigatori, i soggetti agivano all’interno di una rete collaudata per aggirare i controlli e alimentare la distribuzione illegale.

Tutte le posizioni degli indagati si trovano attualmente nella fase delle indagini preliminari. Le eventuali responsabilità penali saranno accertate in via definitiva solamente in caso di sentenza di condanna irrevocabile.

L’allarme è scattato intorno alle 17,40, quando è stata richiesta l’assistenza dei soccorsi. Sul posto sono intervenuti i sanitari del 118 con automedica e ambulanza, mentre è stato attivato anche l’elisoccorso regionale, che però non è stato utilizzato.

I soccorritori hanno tentato a lungo le manovre di rianimazione, ma ogni intervento si è rivelato inutile. Per la bambina non è stato possibile fare altro che constatarne il decesso.

Secondo le prime informazioni, il ritrovamento sarebbe avvenuto all’interno della casa da parte dei familiari, che hanno immediatamente dato l’allarme. Al momento non sono state rese note le cause della morte.

Sul luogo sono intervenuti anche i carabinieri, che hanno avviato gli accertamenti per ricostruire quanto accaduto e chiarire la dinamica dei fatti. Gli investigatori stanno raccogliendo elementi utili per comprendere le circostanze del decesso.
