L’appello lanciato dal prefetto e dal procuratore è stato chiaro: gli imprenditori devono considerarsi parte attiva nella strategia di difesa. Nessuna azienda, secondo quanto emerso dal vertice, può ritenersi esonerata dall’apportare un contributo adeguato alla sicurezza collettiva del distretto. In risposta, le associazioni di categoria si sono impegnate a avviare una capillare azione di sensibilizzazione tra gli iscritti, affinché vengano potenziati i sistemi di sicurezza passiva in base al valore delle merci custodite e alla posizione logistica degli stabilimenti.

Sul fronte del controllo del territorio, questore e comandanti provinciali di carabinieri e Guardia di finanza hanno confermato che il dispositivo di vigilanza nelle aree industriali è già pienamente operativo e strutturato con servizi dedicati. Le forze dell’ordine hanno inoltre rinnovato la disponibilità a fornire consulenza tecnica diretta agli orafi per individuare le tecnologie più efficaci nel contrasto ai furti.

Tra le misure ritenute prioritarie per elevare il muro di protezione attorno ai lingotti e ai preziosi, il tavolo ha indicato il rafforzamento degli accessi carrabili, il potenziamento della videosorveglianza e una migliore illuminazione delle aree produttive. Cruciale sarà anche la sinergia con gli istituti di vigilanza privata per garantire interventi tempestivi.

La prefettura manterrà un monitoraggio costante sulla situazione, confermando che la tutela dell’oro di Arezzo richiede un fronte comune e coordinato tra istituzioni e mondo produttivo.

Secondo i dati pubblicati sulla rivista scientifica Bmc Cardiovascular Disorders, le persone che dormono meno di otto ore per notte e vanno a letto a orari molto variabili potrebbero avere un rischio quasi doppio di andare incontro a infarto o ictus rispetto a chi mantiene una routine del sonno più regolare.

La ricerca è stata condotta da un team dell’Università di Oulu, in Finlandia, e ha analizzato la relazione tra qualità e regolarità del sonno e salute cardiovascolare. Gli studiosi hanno monitorato i partecipanti attraverso dispositivi indossabili capaci di registrare il tempo trascorso a letto e gli orari di addormentamento e risveglio durante la settimana.

L’elemento innovativo dello studio riguarda proprio l’analisi separata dei diversi parametri del sonno. I ricercatori hanno infatti valutato in modo indipendente l’orario di addormentamento, quello del risveglio e il cosiddetto punto medio del sonno, per capire quale fattore potesse incidere maggiormente sul rischio cardiovascolare.

Dai risultati è emerso che l’irregolarità dell’orario in cui si va a dormire rappresenta uno degli indicatori più rilevanti. Nelle persone che già dormono meno delle otto ore raccomandate, questa variabilità si associa a un rischio significativamente superiore di eventi cardiovascolari maggiori.

Secondo gli autori, mantenere una routine regolare del sonno potrebbe quindi avere un ruolo importante nella prevenzione delle patologie cardiovascolari, al pari della durata complessiva del riposo. Non conta soltanto quante ore si dorme, ma anche quando si va a dormire e quanto questi orari restano costanti nel tempo.

Lo studio rafforza una crescente letteratura scientifica che collega la qualità del sonno alla salute del cuore e del sistema circolatorio. In particolare, l’alterazione del ritmo sonno-veglia può influenzare pressione arteriosa, metabolismo e livelli di stress fisiologico, fattori noti per incidere sul rischio cardiovascolare.

Secondo quanto comunicato dalla stessa WhatsApp nel proprio centro assistenza ufficiale, il rilascio degli abbonamenti ai canali avverrà in modo progressivo e inizialmente soltanto in alcuni Paesi e per determinati canali selezionati. La società ha spiegato che la distribuzione sarà graduale, con l’obiettivo di ampliare successivamente la disponibilità a un numero maggiore di utenti.

L’introduzione dei canali a pagamento non comporterà comunque la scomparsa dei canali gratuiti già esistenti. Il nuovo sistema dovrebbe affiancarsi all’attuale modello, permettendo ai creator, alle aziende e ai brand presenti sulla piattaforma di proporre contenuti premium riservati agli iscritti paganti, mantenendo parallelamente la possibilità di continuare a gestire canali aperti a tutti.

L’obiettivo della nuova funzione sembra essere quello di offrire strumenti di monetizzazione diretta a chi utilizza i canali come strumento di comunicazione o distribuzione di contenuti, seguendo una direzione già intrapresa da altre piattaforme social e di messaggistica.

La ricerca, condotta da un team di studiosi del Centro Oncologico dell’Università delle Hawaii di Manoa insieme ad altri istituti statunitensi, ha analizzato i dati di oltre 90mila partecipanti coinvolti nel Multiethnic Cohort Study, uno dei più ampi studi longitudinali dedicati alla relazione tra stile di vita e salute.

Secondo quanto emerso, chi segue una dieta prevalentemente vegetale basata su frutta, verdura, legumi, cereali integrali e oli vegetali presenta un rischio inferiore di sviluppare Alzheimer rispetto a chi adotta un’alimentazione meno equilibrata. I ricercatori hanno inoltre osservato che i benefici non riguardano solo chi segue questo modello alimentare per molti anni: anche chi decide di migliorare la propria dieta in età avanzata può ottenere vantaggi significativi.

Nel dettaglio, i partecipanti con maggiore aderenza a una dieta vegetale di alta qualità hanno mostrato un rischio ridotto del 7% di sviluppare demenza rispetto a coloro che seguivano meno questo modello alimentare. La riduzione arrivava al 12% considerando una dieta vegetale generale, mentre chi consumava prevalentemente alimenti vegetali di bassa qualità registrava un rischio aumentato del 6%.

Un dato particolarmente rilevante riguarda il cambiamento delle abitudini alimentari nel tempo. In un sottogruppo di circa 45mila persone, lo studio ha rilevato che chi è passato da una dieta sana a una meno salutare ha aumentato il rischio di Alzheimer del 25%, mentre chi ha migliorato la propria alimentazione passando a una dieta plant based di qualità ha ridotto il rischio dell’11%.

Gli autori dello studio sottolineano che il messaggio principale è chiaro: non è mai troppo tardi per migliorare la propria alimentazione. Anche un cambiamento intrapreso dopo i 60 anni può contribuire alla protezione della salute cognitiva nel lungo periodo.

I carabinieri hanno stretto le manette ai polsi di un uomo di 55 anni, residente a Pescia, accusato di aver esploso un colpo di pistola contro un vicino di terreno a Uzzano. L’episodio, avvenuto intorno alle 18 di ieri in un’area agricola, non si è trasformato in tragedia solo per una questione di pochi centimetri: il proiettile ha infatti mancato il bersaglio, lasciando illesa la vittima, un cinquantenne di origini albanesi residente nel comune uzzanese.

A dare l’allarme è stato lo stesso cinquantenne che, subito dopo l’aggressione, è riuscito a mettersi in salvo allertando il 112 mentre l’aggressore si dileguava a bordo della propria auto. I militari dell’Arma, intervenuti tempestivamente, hanno rintracciato il presunto sparatore poco dopo. La successiva perquisizione nella sua abitazione a Pescia ha portato al ritrovamento di un piccolo arsenale: due fucili e due pistole che, sebbene regolarmente denunciati, non avrebbero mai dovuto trovarsi fuori dalle mura domestiche.

L’uomo deve ora rispondere, oltre che del tentato omicidio, anche delle gravi violazioni alle leggi sul porto d’armi. I due protagonisti della vicenda sono proprietari di appezzamenti di terreno adiacenti e proprio i rapporti di vicinato sembrano essere al centro della lite sfociata nel sangue sfiorato.

Il cinquantacinquenne è stato trasferito nel carcere di Pistoia, dove resta a disposizione dell’autorità giudiziaria, mentre proseguono le indagini per ricostruire l’esatta dinamica e il movente che ha scatenato una reazione così violenta tra i campi di Uzzano.

Con un gesto rapido, ha sfilato dalla tasca del proprio giubbotto quattro piccoli pacchetti di plastica trasparente, gettandoli rapidamente sotto un’automobile in sosta lungo la via.

La mossa, tuttavia, si è consumata proprio sotto gli occhi dei poliziotti, che hanno immediatamente bloccato l’uomo e recuperato gli involucri. All’interno si celavano 4,83 grammi di cocaina. Le successive verifiche sul posto hanno permesso di ispezionare anche il portafogli del sospettato, al cui interno è stata rinvenuta la somma in contanti di 370 euro.

Sia il denaro che le dosi di stupefacente sono stati posti sotto sequestro. Il trentaquattrenne, che è risultato essere un soggetto già noto alle forze dell’ordine, è stato condotto nelle camere di sicurezza della locale Questura. La sessione tecnica ha fornito un’analisi dettagliata della ricerca sulle proteine del lievito e sul loro crescente ambito di applicazione. Le sessioni ne hanno evidenziato la comprovata efficacia nel recupero delle performance sportive, nella mitigazione della sarcopenia, nella protezione della mucosa gastrica e nella modulazione della barriera intestinale. HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM – Media OutReach Newswire – 15 April 2026 – The HCM City Development Commercial Bank (HDBank) has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with the London Stock Exchange (LSE) to support Vietnamese businesses in accessing international capital markets. 

This is part of the Investment Forum held on April 14, by HDBank, LSE and the Việt Nam International Finance Centre in HCM City (VIFC). 

As Vietnam targets 10% GDP growth, the country is pushing forward with infrastructure development, science technology & innovation, value-adding manufacturing & services sector and green economy. This requires long-term patient capital. While Vietnam has been accelerating its capital markets development beyond bank credit, as evidenced by the stock market reform that has been awarded with a FTSE Russell emerging market upgrade in September 2026, the government recognizes the need to tap into international capital as a critical source of financing. In February, the government inaugurated VIFC as a conduit for international capital into Vietnam and today the partnership between HDBank and LSE is another milestone.  

HDBank and LSE’s partnership will focus on promoting cross-border fundraising activities, including the issuance of shares, bonds, and other financial instruments on the London market, as well as strengthening connections with global institutional investors and improving transparency and corporate governance standards. 

HDBank is one of Vietnam’s largest financial institutions with a variety of products and services across retail & corporate banking, securities, investment, insurance. HDBank is a co-founder of VIFC. The bank aims to become partner of choice for Vietnamese enterprises when they consider international capital.
